New members who have submitted applications please be patient.  Under normal circumstances it takes 3-4 months for paperwork to be processed.  With the current flurry of activity this may be extended.  Please do not keep calling the Team Commander or Administrative Officer to check on the status of your paperwork.  As soon as the Team is notified of your completed paperwork, you will be notified in turn.

NDMS is recommending that all team members, on their own (if possible), get the required immunizations listed below as soon as possible. Most healthcare professionals probably have many of these immunizations. Funding for these vaccinations from NDMS has not been secured. These are only recommendations at this time, but I encourage all Metro Ny-2 DMAT Team members to try to get current on their shots: it's up to you at this point. There is a great amount of discussion at all levels regarding this issue, so we'll keep everyone informed as developments occur.
